Unraveling the Mystery of Prayer

Author dispels confusion about communicating with God.

Longwood, FL (PRWEB) February 3, 2008 -- What makes prayer a mystery? Why pray? After all, doesn't God know what I need before I ask? Does God hear me when I pray? If I don't get an answer right away, is there any point in asking again and again and again? These are questions many of us ask each day and author Yolanda Brick explores in her book Pray and Pray Some More (paperback, 978-1-60477-202-9).

After researching prayer and conducting surveys, Brick discovered confusion in our culture concerning prayer. Her book is a response to that confusion, detailing the forms of prayer and how we can remove the mystery and overcome struggles we encounter. She relies heavily on the Bible for answers.

In Pray and Pray Some More the author takes readers on a biblical journey to show us our prayers are heard and an answer is on its way, tailored especially for us. She reveals how we can start our own prayer life without a struggle and shares personal experiences that give witness to the power of communicating with God. While we have all the problems, she says, God has all the solutions. "Nothing is too big or too small for God." She believes we can come before the Lord with the most intimate details of our lives and be confident these details are "not office gossip."

Brick has started www.prayandpraysomemore.com in search of prayer warriors. She hopes to unite people from every nation to pray for one another and believe God for miracles--to "dream big for our nation and for one another." She encourages readers not to give up--but to Pray and Pray Some More.

A scientist, Yolanda Brick is married with four children and lives in Arizona.
