The seminar will allow entrepreneurs interested in participating in the contest the chance to have their questions answered in real time by the hosting panel. Topics will include competition terms and conditions, an overview of the contest timeline, explanation of the judging process and the benefits of entering the contest.

The seminar will be hosted by Cheryl Dennis, Vice President, International Business Wales; Dr. Steve Davies, Technium Challenge Executive; Claire Rowley, Technium Challenge Manager; and Hamish Edwards, Executive Director of the New Zealand-based company Xero, the winner of Technium Challenge International 2007.

Technium Challenge International offers growing small businesses a chance to win one year of free office space within one of 10 Technium incubators in Wales, strategic counsel on financing, business planning, technical issues, as well as valuable networking opportunities. Judges include Sony Corporation Chairman and CEO Howard Stringer, a Welshman, as well as Gordon Innes, Director of U.K. Trade & Investment USA, and Geraint Jones, Chief Executive, Americas, International Business Wales.

U.S. entries must be submitted by March 28, 2008, for review by a local judging panel, where a short list of successful applicants will be selected by early April 2008. These companies will then undergo a final round of judging before the American winner is announced in late April 2008.
