STRATACACHE was recently announced a recipient of the 2008 DIGI Awards, which honor excellence and innovation in the digital signage industry. The Digital Signage Group named STRATACACHE winner in the Retail Application category, recognizing the best digital signage rollout for a National Campaign.
STRATACACHE’s winning nomination highlighted its technology and its role in AT&T Mobility’s digital signage initiatives. AT&T Mobility’s implementation of a large digital signage network played a critical part of AT&T’s re-branding initiatives. In 2007, AT&T Mobility launched its new Experience Stores that integrate digital signage and media to create the ultimate customer experience and a new way to shop for communications and entertainment services.
In addition, AT&T Mobility leveraged an extensive in-store digital signage network to promote the most highly-anticipated tech product of 2007, the Apple iPhone. iPhone kiosks were placed in every store as part of the product launch. The result—the largest single rollout of digital signage in retail of 2007.

The judges of the 2008 DIGI Awards were five industry players including David Keene, Executive Editor of Digital Signage Magazine and DIGI Awards Chairman, Alan Brawn, principal of Brawn Consulting, Bill Collins, principal pf Decisions Point Media Insights, Ed Weil, Sourcebook Director-Content, Inc. Magazine, and Lyle Bunn, principal of Lyle Bunn Consulting.
STRATACACHE CEO Chris Riegel will participate in a panel on February 28 at 4:30 p.m. during the Digital Signage Expo in Las Vegas to discuss the award. The panel, titled “Bringing It All Together,” gives DIGI Award winners the opportunity to share what it takes to implement a winning digital signage project. Riegel will also be available for comment at booth #813 during the Expo.
