Scosche Industries, a leader of mobile electronics aftermarket accessories, is pleased to announce its new BlueLife Do-it-Yourself Bluetooth Car Kit (#DIYBRH) has won the prestigious 2008 CES Innovations Award. Offering a complete line of BlueLife products for both car and home, Scosche is pleased to present the Do-it-Yourself Universal Bluetooth Car Kit.

According to Kas Alves, vice president sales and marketing, Scosche Industries, "Scosche is an award-winning innovator of car audio accessories and we continue advancements in car audio technology with our BlueLife Bluetooth wireless products. We are pleased to offer the next generation of in-car integration with our new BlueLife Bluetooth Plug-n-Play kit."

Previously, Scosche's BlueLife was only offered as a hard-wired interface into a vehicle's sound system for an aftermarket or OEM head unit. The new Plug-n-Play kit offers the same award-winning features and eliminates the need to perform a complete installation.

Alves continued, "Our new kit is designed for today's audiophile new vehicle owner who demands simple solutions for the latest innovations. Eliminating the need for an elaborate installation, our BlueLife Bluetooth Plug-n-Play kit is a complete solution for wireless audio and hands-free cell phone capabilities."

Designed specifically for newer vehicles and aftermarket stereos with auxiliary input jacks on the stereos, the kit is a simple solution for audiophiles. If a vehicle does not include an aux input, Scosche offers a direct connect add-on auxiliary accessory, the DCAXUV that will allow anyone to use the new Bluetooth car kit.

Additionally, Scosche also universal and iPod specific Bluetooth transmitters made specifically for iPods with bottom dock connectors enabling wireless listening mobility with CD-quality sound (model #IPBTT or #TZ4).

"With an estimated 10 million new vehicles to be equipped with aux input jacks by the end of 2008, Scosche's new Bluetooth plug-n-play will be a popular solution for those consumers who demand the best sounding wireless solution for their vehicles," said Alves.

With no installation required, the BlueLife Bluetooth Car Kit (#DIYBRH) includes receiver and 3.5mm connector. The unique BlueLife kit receiver with microphone simply plugs into any vehicle's 12-volt charger. The receiver easily connects to a vehicle's auxiliary jack allowing music or hands-free cellular calls to play through a vehicle's speakers. A true plug-n-play solution, the BlueLife car kit will work with any radio -OEM or aftermarket - that has an auxiliary input jack.

The integrated microphone features DSP Echo Cancellation for crystal clear cell phone communication. As a call comes through to a Bluetooth enabled cell phone, a user can either manually answer the call using the push-to-talk button included on the microphone, or a call can be automatically answered. Once the call is answered, the music mutes, and users will hear the caller through their car speakers. When the call is complete, the call is disconnected, and the music will automatically turn back on.

As with all of its BlueLife products, Scosche's Bluetooth wireless technology is Bluetooth 1.2 compliant and A2DP capable for continuous streaming audio. It can pair with an unlimited number of transmitters so users can enjoy music and calls without wired limitations.

Offering a plug-n-play solution with CD quality digital streaming audio capabilities, the new BlueLife Bluetooth kit is the next generation of revolutionary products from Scosche and will lead in the marketplace.
