100% of Pima Medical Institute's Recent Graduating Radiography Students Pass National Exam
The Radiography Department at Pima Medical Institute, 957 S. Dobson Road, announced that 100% of its most recent graduating class of radiography students (30 in all) passed the American Registry for Radiologic Technology National Exam.
Mesa, AZ (PRWEB) February 14, 2008 -- The Radiography Department at Pima Medical Institute, 957 S. Dobson Road, announced that 100% of its most recent graduating class of radiography students (30 in all) passed the American Registry for Radiologic Technology National Exam.
The 96-week Radiography program includes 2080 hours of training. Graduates of this program receive an Associate of Occupational Studies degree and are eligible to apply to take the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists examination for certification.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the demand for radiographers is expected to increase due to the expanding population of the elderly, as well as the increased use of innovative medical technology for intensive diagnosis and treatment.
In addition to Radiography, the Mesa campus offers programs for Dental Assistant, Massage Therapist, Medical Assistant, Medical Administrative Assistant, Nursing (Associate of Applied Science), Pharmacy Technician, Phlebotomy Technician, Physical Therapy Technician, Respiratory Therapy (Associate of Occupational Studies degree) and Veterinary Assistant.
