Many of the new features in the learning management system focus on streamlining the process so administrators and managers can supervise the training process quickly and efficiently.
The new version of the learning management system adds graphics to the current text-based reporting tools. This allows managers to point and click on certain graphics to bring up the information they need. For example, clicking on a pie chart would bring up the training status and list of names for the selected group.
"With these additions to the learning management system, we're focusing on efficiency and usability," Stiner said. "We want to make it easy for training managers to do their jobs without headaches from learning new software."
New customization options are also available to managers. They can single out departments or group multiple departments together. They can customize the color and branding on the learning management system to reflect their own company. They can also customize the structure of their administrative dashboard to show or hide items like the calendar or resources.
"They can pare their system down to the essentials and reduce confusion, as they won't have a lot of unnecessary items on their computer screen," said Stiner. "They can even customize their user interface so that it functions in the way that's most natural to them."
Old favorites still appear in the new system as well. The classroom resources, calendar and discussion groups are still up and active.
Their learning management system has made lives easier for many companies, including the Creek Nation Casinos.
