Cisco has awarded Internetwork Engineering (IE) the status of Authorized Technology Partner (ATP) for MDS Fabric Switching. Cisco's ATP designation is used to recognize leaders in emerging technologies. Applicants must meet rigorous expertise requirements.
The ATP certification recognizes IE's knowledge and expertise in planning, designing, implementing, supporting and optimizing storage networking solutions. As an MDS Fabric Switching partner IE is able to design and implement consolidated SAN solutions using unique Cisco MDS features and functions like VSANs and security.
"IE is committed to bringing leadership and excellence in emerging technologies to our clients. We are proud to be one of the first of only 11 companies in the US to achieve this ATP designation," says Greg Rivers, president. "We look forward to helping our clients benefit from this technology. Cisco's MDS Fabric Switching enables very large and highly stable SAN fabrics. IE can use MDS to bring our clients the capability to consolidate multiple SANs onto larger, more cost-effective storage and optical infrastructure while maintaining per-VSAN management and control of each virtual fabric."
IE has built a reputation as the most experienced, knowledgeable and customer focused IT integrator in the Carolinas Region. By focusing on employees, clients and partners while delivering complex, mission-critical data network solutions for reputable companies, IE enables technology that supports client productivity and growth.
