SLAPPA Announces New Members of Senior Management Team, Appoint New Director of Online Operations and New General Manager of Production and OEM Sales

SLAPPA Distribution LLC. today announced the appointment of two new members to its Senior Management Team. Mr. Chris Araldi has been appointed the new Director of Online Operations and Mr. John Kelly has been appointed the new General Manager in SLAPPA's Hong Kong office. The new members of the SLAPPA management team are brought on to further scale SLAPPA's dynamic approach to developing products and grow current and new distribution channels.

SLAPPA Distribution LLC. today announced the appointment of two new members to its Senior Management Team. Mr. Chris Araldi has been appointed the new Director of Online Operations and Mr. John Kelly has been appointed the new General Manager in SLAPPA's Hong Kong office. The new members of the SLAPPA management team are brought on to further scale SLAPPA's dynamic approach to developing products and grow current and new distribution channels.

Mr. Araldi joins SLAPPA after four successful years in the competitive online travel industry where he instituted and managed an online marketing department that doubled the number of visitors to the site. As Director of E-Commerce at Travel Holdings, Inc., he helped to grow e-commerce sales by more than $40 million. A graduate of the University of Central Florida, he brings an extensive internet marketing background and over seven years of e-commerce experience.

"When I first became aware of SLAPPA and its products, exceptional customer service and how customers have taken to the brand, I realized that the company was on the verge of breaking out," said Mr. Araldi. SLAPPA launched its first website (http://www.slappa.com) in 2003 and online sales now account for 20 percent of the company's total sales. The company projects its online sales to double in 2008. In 2006, the company introduced its Online Franchise Model and together with its United Kingdom partner, launched http://www.slappa.co.uk. This Online Franchise Model enables customers to order in their own currency and take delivery from local distribution centers, while also allowing SLAPPA distribution partners to share in the success of the online sales. The company says it has plans to further expand its web franchises.

"Our Online Franchise Model has been a great success in the U.K. and we are now talking with other partners to take this model into other regions," said Mr. Martinetti. "Chris will play an integral role in the continued development of growing the number of international SLAPPA sites and fostering this model."

Mr. John Kelly has been named as SLAPPA's General Manager in Hong Kong. He brings extensive production, product development and sales experience to this position. Prior to his employment at SLAPPA, Mr. Kelly was the Vice President of OEM Business and Vice President of International Sales and Operations for Case Logic. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Colorado.
