College students get the power to bring Fat Man Scoop and his wife Shanda to their campus.

Eventful, the leading global events Web site, and Fatman Scoop, made famous by his booming baritone DJ voice, along with his instantly likable wife, Shanda, have joined forces to cross promote their popular online Man And Wife TV show to thousands of college students across the country. Decadent, colorfully raw and born completely out of their marriage, Scoop and Shanda announced today that college students across the country will use Eventful's Demand service to decide which colleges will receive a live taping of Man And Wife to give students an interactive and insightful look into the couple's steamy relationship.

Eventful Demand enables fans to influence where their favorite artists perform by creating grass-roots campaigns to "Demand" the artists to come to their town. Tens of thousands of artists, comedians, and even politicians are using Eventful Demand to connect with their fans and empower them to shape their tour. Eventful Demand is quickly becoming a phenomenon in the music and entertainment industry.

Man and Wife breaks new ground as a married couple in the hip-hop genre discuss sex, money, relationships, jobs, politics and marriage. The show launched earlier last year as a weekly podcast, recently reached the 6 million-viewer mark.

Launched on February 6, 2008, the Demand competition will continue through 2:00 pm PST, April 16, 2008, at Eventful. The winning colleges will be announced on April 17, 2008.

"One night, when I was in bed talking to Shanda, I realized my own wife was witty, funny and sharp," said Fat Man Scoop. "My manager Charlie Stettler loved the concept and brought producer/director and Web entrepreneur Alex Lasky on board and ManandWife.TV was born! Now we want to bring our expertise to an even wider audience and we are happy to be working with Eventful to connect with our users in such an innovative and compelling way! The colleges that Demand Shanda and me the most, are going to get one crazy show. They will be our first live college show. So join our site and eventful and demand us!"

Along with MySpace, YouTube and iTunes, Eventful is quickly becoming an essential part of the online marketing toolkit for performers and entertainment properties. Eventful is transforming the way that shows get routed by empowering fans to influence where they take place and by enabling performers to make the best decisions about where to book shows.

"We love helping build stronger connections between fans and entertainers by enabling fans to influence where their favorite performers appear," said Jordan Glazier, CEO of Eventful. "We're excited to help Man and Wife TV give their devoted college fans the power to shape their live taping tour."
