Mairzey Dotes, an independent accessory line of modern, vintage baby blankets, announced today the launch of their 2008 Collection. The new collection features reversible blankets, receiving blankets, and luxe gift sets which combine the two.
"Before designing the 2008 line, we reached out to moms across the country and asked them what they wanted in a baby blanket," said owner and designer, Sarah Kronland. "Style, comfort, and practicability were the top things on their list, but they were also in search of blankets for different seasons. They wanted something more lightweight for summer and styles thick and cuddly for the colder months." Kronland took these suggestions seriously when creating the 2008 collection.
The 2008 line uses 100% cotton, modern prints that are not only stylish but will stimulate baby visually. All of the items are generous in size, machine washable, and made in the U.S.A.
The blankets in the Reversible Collection feature reversible modern prints with a cotton inner lining while the more lightweight Receiving Collection combines cotton prints with ultra soft solid flannels. The posh Gift Collection features coordinating reversible and receiving blankets that are packaged in a classy corded hatbox.
"These are definitely blankets that baby (and mom) will want to tote everywhere," said Kronland. "From stroller outings to just cuddling at home, these blankets are sure to please. And parents will be even happier when baby becomes a toddler and they haven't outgrown our products."
The 2008 collection from Mairzey Dotes retails from $45 to $100. Visit their website at http://www.mairzeydotes.com to view and purchase from the entire selection.
