Presented by Spirited Woman, http://www.TheSpiritedWoman.com an ever-growing and highly-inspirational women's empowerment community, the Spirited Woman Circle is an interactive "women inspiring women" conversation series, meant to uplift women and convey the message that anything is possible in your life and career. Several of the women in the series achieved mega-success post 40.
Nancy Mills, a writer, workshop leader and inspirational speaker, founded Spirited Woman in 2002, and is known as the Creator of the Spirited Woman Approach to Life. She is also known for her personal friendships with many women authors and her knack for drawing bestselling authors into the Spirited Woman Circle. In the past such talents as author/actress Fannie Flagg ("Fried Green Tomatoes") and author Janet Fitch ("White Oleander") have participated as guests.
Mills moderates the intimate conversations and interviews each guest. The participants on the "tele-chats" ask questions from their home or office in a coffee club, lunch bunch type atmosphere.
"I am so excited about our 2008 Circle," says Mills enthusiastically. "This is the first tele-seminar most of our guests have ever done. And I am so honored that they are involved with us. They have millions of devoted fans!"
One of last year's participants, Betty Goldstein, had this to say about the series, "The Spirited Woman Circle is magic. For an hour each month, and from the comfort of my home, I became a participant in a master class featuring world famous authors from various literary genres. I took notes, asked questions on the air, and when the hour was over, felt enriched, and inspired. I just signed up for my second season. Nancy is a skillful interviewer, and brings out the best in her guests. Two thumbs up."
Goldstein's sentiments seem to be resounding around the globe. Not only are women signing up individually, but this year several book groups have signed up as well and the word is spreading about the series from blog to blog. Recently, the series was featured on the highly-trafficked Galley Cat blog, http://tinyurl.com/yvyq9n.
Pre-registration for the conversations is required. Each "tele-chat" is $15 dollars, and presently through March 3, there is a $99 eight-part series special, http://www.thespiritedwoman.com/registration.
Additionally, the eight-part 2006 and the eight-part 2007 Spirited Woman Circle series' conversations, with guests such as Elizabeth Forsythe Hailey ("A Woman of Independent Means") and bestselling romance novelist Carly Phillips ("Summer Lovin'"), are currently available individually in CD or in an MP3 version.
