Kissimmee, Fla. (PRWEB) February 19, 2008

Kissimmee Utility Authority today launched a new Web site designed to streamline the process for scheduling its large community grill, aka The Big Grill.

The Web site - http://www.TheBigGrill.com - provides area schools, churches, nonprofit and community groups with easy step-by-step instructions to secure the grill for their upcoming fundraising and social events. The Web site includes a grill calendar, downloadable forms and a photo gallery of past events.

The trailer-mounted grill features a 40-square-foot cooking surface, fueled by two 40-pound propane tanks. The grill also features a 35-gallon water storage tank and four collapsible food preparation areas.

Since its debut in 2002, the KUA cooker has been used at hundreds of community events to prepare a combined total of 75,000 meals. The grill was funded by the utility's community sponsorship program.

Note: To access the calendar portion of the Web site, visitors will need to configure their Internet browser to allow pop-ups.

Founded in 1901, KUA (http://www.kua.com) is Florida's sixth largest community-owned utility providing electric and telecommunication services to 170,000 residents in five Central Florida counties.
