Just one month after its official launch, business bookmarking site Junta42 is gearing up to introduce Junta42 Match--a business pairing site aimed at bringing together custom content providers and brand marketers. Set to launch in May 2008, Junta42 Match takes an important step forward with three strategic alliances, announced today by Junta42's founder Joe Pulizzi. The Custom Publishing Council (CPC), American Business Media (ABM) and BtoB Magazine have all signed on to promote and benefit from Junta42 Match and will extend the terms of their partnerships to their respective members and subscribers.
The Custom Publishing Council's partnership with Junta42 Match reflects its focus on continually increasing membership benefits. In return for Match's prominent presence on the CPC Web site as well as promotion in CPC eNewsletters and the CPC magazine Content, all registered CPC members will be listed as custom content providers in the Junta42 Match database for a 90-day free trial period. Following this trial, members will receive additional discounts if they decide to continue with a paid listing. The CPC will be promoted as a partner company on the Junta42 Match homepage and newsletter.
"The Custom Publishing Council has discussed the possibility of participating in an unbiased matching service that would benefit its members by giving them equal access to new business opportunities. Our involvement with Junta42 Match is an obvious and necessary step for the organization," said Lori Rosen, Executive Director of the CPC.
American Business Media's partnership is similar in that all interested ABM members will receive a free 90-day trial listing in the Junta42 Match system, as well as additional discounts upon signup. Junta42 will also partner with ABM on the creation of an ABM/Junta42 B2B Custom Media Research Study, and provide consultation and content for ABM's revised Custom Media microsite to be released this spring. Finally, ABM and Junta42 will partner on a business-to-business custom media event, which will be produced in the second half of 2008. As with the CPC agreement, ABM will be promoted as a partner company on the Junta42 Match homepage.

The BtoB Magazine sponsorship will include the creation of a co-branded content marketing channel, whereby a fixed promotion on BtoB Online will direct the site's visitors to a BtoB/Junta42-branded web site about how marketers can execute a content marketing program. Conversely, Junta42 will promote BtoB as the lead media sponsor for its Match site, will note BtoB as a key sponsor in all relevant Match releases, and will use BtoB as its main data source for a tentative Junta42 Match winter print supplement.

Junta42 Match will be free for buyers (those looking for expert content help). Sellers--including custom publishers, traditional publishers with custom divisions, advertising and digital agencies, direct marketers, pr firms, etc.--will be charged an annual or monthly listing fee. All content providers will be offered a free trial.
