"I'm 63 years old, and I had my first car at 15 -- a 1949 Cadillac," remembers Harold Dumais fondly, discussing his web store at DiecastPlusMore.com. "I love cars, and began working on them at a young age, which developed into this. I've been a collector of die-cast cars for over 20 years."
Harold opened www.DiecastPlusMore.com to share his love of die-cast automobiles with the world, offering a variety of classic and contemporary models for enthusiasts and newcomers alike. "I think everybody loves cars; everybody has their own infatuation with them," explains Dumais. "I hand-picked the products from many vendors, so there's a tremendous selection -- from vintage to modern." In fact there are over 20 different manufacturers on www.DiecastPlusMore.com, with cars from all eras of motor vehicle history.
"I've tried to keep the web site simple -- user-friendly -- because that's what I need. Everything I've ever done in my life, I've always needed a track to run on, something to keep it simple," says Dumais, who has always strived to make his customers feel welcome and comfortable at his store. This is why he implemented a new blog at DiecastPlusMore.net, where he can communicate directly with customers and let them know about new products, upcoming sales, and product details.
"I'm working on a second site for die-cast remote control cars," says Dumais, detailing one of the most exciting changes for his store. "It will be at www.ChoiceRCCars.com. We're very excited."
