Viewers will be treated to great commercials featuring past Oscar winners and this year's nominees, including Johnny Depp, George Clooney, Laura Linney, Viggo Mortensen, Cate Blanchett and Ellen Page. Great spots from this year's best film and director nominees, including the Coen Brothers and Paul Thomas Anderson, will also be featured in the line-up.
Firebrand's Commercial Jockey's or CJ,'s, set up the curated commercials. Viewers tuning in this week will hear the voice of Best Actor nominee George Clooney in a Budweiser ad, see Best Actor nominee Viggo Mortensen in the movie spot from David Cronenberg's "Eastern Promises," and watch Best Director nominee Michel Gondry play himself in a Hewlett-Packard ad.
The week after Hollywood's biggest award show, starting February 25th, Firebrand.com hosts the "Firebrand Cut", showcasing only the best spots from Sunday night's telecast, where viewers can download, share and rate their favorites spots. Among the spots to be considered will be broadcast debuts created exclusively for the big show from J.C. Penny, Unilever, Dove, Coca Cola, General Motors, L'Oreal, Procter & Gamble, as well as the highly- anticipated "Studious Pupil" from Mastercard Worldwide.
