As we continue to build on the momentum we experienced in 2007 – with 80 new customers taking advantage of our innovative solutions – we will turn to our executive team for leadership and strategic direction. John’s contributions will be instrumental to Enwisen’s continued success.
Novato, Calif. (PRWEB) February 21, 2008
Enwisen , a leader in on-demand workforce communications solutions, today announced that John McLaughlin has joined the company as vice president of Finance, bringing an extensive background in finance and accounting.
As Vice President of Finance, McLaughlin will be responsible for accounting, financial reporting, and human resources at Enwisen. Prior to joining the company, he co-founded a staffing firm specializing in accounting and finance positions. During a 12-year period, his firm grew to four San Francisco Bay Area offices and 100 professional employees, and it was later sold to a national staffing corporation.
“With Enwisen’s focus on helping employers deliver effective, strategic workforce communications, John’s financial, entrepreneurial, and human resources experience made him a natural fit for our company,” said Wally Smith, Enwisen’s chief executive officer. “As we continue to build on the momentum we experienced in 2007 – with 80 new customers taking advantage of our innovative solutions – we will turn to our executive team for leadership and strategic direction. John’s contributions will be instrumental to Enwisen’s continued success.”
Previously, McLaughlin spent nine years with General Mills, beginning as an internal auditor and later holding leadership positions such as group director of planning and analysis and divisional controller. During his tenure with General Mills, he also was deeply involved in strategic planning, acquisition review and analysis, and the start-up of international restaurant operations in Japan and Canada.
McLaughlin earned a bachelor of science in accounting from Northern Arizona University. He also holds a master’s of business administration from the Thunderbird Graduate School of Global Management.
