Official Bush Countdown, LLC sees clock sales picking up as Bush's final year in office ensues. A variety of Democrats from across the nation have been procuring the collectible to spur support for their cause.

As the Presidential candidates' road to the White House continues to push forward, and President Bush's departure is imminent, one company is capitalizing on the cycle. Official Bush Countdown Clock, LLC ( was started by two friends back in late 2005, and they state that business has recently skyrocketed.

"We were confident in our idea when we launched the company a couple of years ago. Sales consistently grew, but we have absolutely seen a recent surge in interest and purchasing. A few celebrities even contacted us to say what a great product it is," stated Noah Sheray, Principal.

The center of the clock features a cartoon parody of George W. Bush in a cowboy's outfit with missiles in his gun holsters. Each hour represents a so-called "blunder" from his Presidency. For example, the five o'clock hour shows George looking under Iraq for the missing WMDs. The clock counts down in both digital and analog time, and is most commonly set for January 20, 2009, when Bush departs office.

"There was a period of time where we were continuously receiving hate mail and all sorts of other unpleasantries. I remember going to gift shows and getting harassed and screamed at for our lack of patriotism. But we think it is slowly becoming a collectible. And getting all these great reviews keep you going," stated Bill Soncini, Principal.
