Despatch Industries, a world leader in providing high quality thermal treatment equipment to the data storage, semiconductor, and solar markets is now providing a 200mm version of its MT-300 magnetic annealing tool.

Despatch's new magnetic annealing tool is designed to perform vacuum annealing to 300°C under medium or high vacuum at magnetic fields anywhere from 500-10,000 Gauss. Tight temperature control during fast ramp, soak and cool down profiles with tight temperature uniformity (± 1°C) at soak are possible. In addition, SECS/GEM data and recipe communication provide the user with the best performance available. Various backfill gases are available along with an option for measuring oxygen in the vacuum exhaust stream. The vacuum chamber can hold up to twenty-two (22) 200mm diameter wafers, which can be moved in and out of the chamber using various carriers.

Despatch offers excellent installation and startup support, which can be followed up by training of operators, maintenance personnel, equipment engineers and supervisors. Warranty and post-warranty parts and service support is available at several coverage levels and can be tailored to the client's needs.

Since its inception in 1902, Despatch Industries has worked at the forefront of thermal processing technology. Building on the company's foundation of expertise in engineering and manufacturing, Despatch has grown to become a global supplier of innovative equipment in some of the world's most sophisticated industries, including: photovoltaic energy, carbon fiber materials, medical devices and electronic components.
