The Smartphone Summit continues to bring informative cutting edge conference content to CTIA WIRELESS as part of our 2008 educational sessions.

Smartphone Summit, the official conference and trade show of the Smartphone industry, will be hosting 'Smartphone Solutions 2008', a one-day exclusive conference that will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center as part of CTIA WIRELESS 2008 beginning March 31, 2008. Smartphone Solutions 2008 is dedicated to providing the top smartphone-based solutions for all smartphone OS platforms including Symbian, RIM, Palm, Microsoft, Apple, and Linux.

The Smartphone Solutions 2008 conference brings together the top mobile and wireless industry device manufacturers, software developers and solutions providers, and is targeted towards business executives including enterprise professionals looking for the latest in mobile and wireless solutions. The conference also serves as a symposium for mobile industry leaders, insiders, and analysts to network and discuss the smartphone's impact on the mobile industry. Top Smartphone Summit sponsors include Symbian, Nokia, and Bluefire Security Technologies.

"As smartphone technology becomes increasingly pervasive in regional markets around the globe, the dividing lines between what constitutes a 'smartphone' and a 'feature phone' are continuing to blur," said Jerry Panagrossi, vice president and general manager of North American operations, Symbian. "The Smartphone Solutions conference brings leaders together from all segments throughout the mobile value chain to share ideas, identify new market trends, and discuss innovative solutions for further evolving the mobile industry. Symbian is proud to be part of such an important industry event and to have this opportunity to deliver the opening keynote address."

Smartphone Solutions 2008 will take place on Monday, March 31 at the Las Vegas Convention Center - the day before the opening of the CTIA WIRELESS exhibits, April 1-3, where the Smartphone Summit will subsequently be hosting its 'Enterprise Mobility Pavilion featuring Smartphone Solutions' with more than 45 booths on the CTIA WIRELESS show floor.

"Smartphones and their related technology are one of the most relevant and rapidly growing market segments in the wireless industry today," said Robert Mesirow, show director and vice president CTIA WIRELESS. "The Smartphone Summit continues to bring informative cutting edge conference content to CTIA WIRELESS as part of our 2008 educational sessions."
