NDTV Selects TAG to Spark India's Imagination
LA-based TAG Media LLC has designed the launch identity for NDTV Imagine, a Hindi-language General Entertainment channel aimed at India's rapidly-growing middle class. Imagine is NDTV's first venture into entertainment and is headed by Sameer Nair, recruited from arch-rivals Star India. It will carry the tagline 'Entertain and Delight'
Mumbai, India (PRWEB) February 24, 2008 -- LA-based TAG Media LLC has designed the launch identity for NDTV Imagine, a Hindi-language General Entertainment channel aimed at India's rapidly-growing middle class. Imagine is NDTV's first venture into entertainment and is headed by Sameer Nair, recruited from arch-rivals Star India. It will carry the tagline 'Entertain and Delight'.
For the launch of the network in January, TAG worked closely with Head of On-Air Packaging and Promotions, Avijit Mitra to create a wide-ranging package around the theme of 'the magic of the imagination'. Including 18 Channel Idents, a web homepage, mobile splash page, corporate identity, marketing materials and 90-second cinema commercial, this is one of the largest and most diverse channel identities TAG has ever created. Unusually for broadcast packaging in the multiplatform world, the Imagine branding uses a combination of live action footage, shot on location in India, and graphics.
