NAS Recruitment Communications announced today that its Creative Team in Los Angeles, California, won three awards at the prestigious, 21st Annual MERCURY Awards, an international competition honoring the best in public relations and corporate communications.

Established in 1987, the MERCURY Awards are presented by the International Academy of Communications Arts and Sciences. Winners from around the world were selected for creativity, functionality and originality.

Tom Owens, Senior Creative Director, Los Angeles, said he considered the MERCURY Awards particularly gratifying, given the global nature of the competition. "On behalf of our clients and my team," he said, "we are delighted that our work has been honored by an internationally respected committee of industry peers."

NAS was awarded a Silver award in the category "Website Recruiting" for its work on the Toyota TEMA college recruitment site, http://www.toyotacollege.jobs. A Silver was also given to NAS for a promotional marketing direct mail piece created for Christus Santa Rosa, and an "honors" designation for a brochure designed for Southern California Edison.

"These honors are shared with our client-partners," said Don Sabatino, Vice President, Western Region. "Each one has recognized the importance of a strong employment brand, and has worked with NAS to distinguish themselves in the recruitment marketplace. It's a pleasure to work with such industry leaders."
