CynergisTek is launching two new information security solutions for healthcare at this week's Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society's (HIMSS) conference in Orlando, Florida. CynergisTek SafetyNet, a set of data loss prevention solutions, and Maestro, a technical risk management solution, will be demonstrated in booth #2230 at the top and bottom of the hour throughout the conference.
"Now that HIPAA compliance enforcement is a reality, healthcare organizations can no longer procrastinate; it is critical that they take proactive measures to move towards compliance. Maestro and SafetyNet offer affordable ways to take a leap in the right direction," said Mac McMillan, Chief Executive Officer of CynergisTek and Chairman of the HIMSS Information Systems Security Working Group.
SafetyNet, which is powered by Code Green Networks, is an appliance-based solution with available supporting services suitable for healthcare organizations of all sizes and complexities. It has extensive capabilities that meet operational needs and compliance mandates including Content Inspection, WebMail Filtering, Policy and Incident Management to identify and report violations by content type, sender, recipient, policy and network protocol.
"Data loss is a not something that only large healthcare organizations need to be concerned with -- it is a growing epidemic that costs healthcare organizations of all sizes millions of dollars each year," said McMillan. "We are releasing SafetyNet to bring our clients an affordable way to protect their patient data and safeguard themselves from these costly breaches while taking the necessary steps to comply with mandates such as HIPAA."
Powered by RedSeal Systems, Maestro offers a complete and independent view of the technical security risk in IT environments by mapping the entire infrastructure, measuring relevant risk, and prioritizing vulnerabilities to effectively mitigate risk. CynergisTek offers Maestro as an "on demand" or managed service, providing clients the ability to customize service level to meet their environment and budgetary needs.
"Maestro will help our clients stay ahead of IT security risk and will dramatically reduce the amount of time it takes them to audit network security infrastructure, understand risk posture and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as HIPAA," said Stephanie Crabb, Vice President of Client Services at CynergisTek.
Demonstrations of both Maestro and SafetyNet will also be available upon request at the HIMSS conference or private demonstrations can be arrange by emailing email@example.com.
