Sports beverage company and Importive SA agree to deal for distribution in Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.

WheyUP, the Original Protein Drink with Energy, continued its aggressive global distribution campaign by signing a deal with Importive SA. Under the arrangement, Importive will distribute WheyUP in the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. Santo Domingo-based Importive is a wholesale distributor and retailer of fitness nutritional products, organic foods and fitness accessories to independent, chain supermarkets, fitness stores, drugstore and department stores in the Dominican Republic.

"We are very excited about this arrangement with WheyUP," said Carlos Castillo, the CEO of Importive SA. "Once the product hits the streets, it will become very popular with the people in the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. This is a great product; it tastes great, and gives people the energy and protein they need."
