Unique Social Network Targets Most Powerful Demographic in History

Bolder Broadcasting Inc., the world's leading producer of active-lifestyle content, announces the launch of GrowingBolder.com, a unique online community for men and women interested in living life to its fullest. The multimedia company was founded by a group of award-winning TV journalists who grew tired of the mainstream media ignoring "the true prime demo."

Orlando, FL (PRWEB) February 28, 2008 -- Bolder Broadcasting Inc., the world's leading producer of active-lifestyle content, announces the launch of GrowingBolder.com, a unique online community for men and women interested in living life to its fullest.

"We're very different than the typical social networking site," says Founder and CEO, Marc Middleton. "We're not about age, we're about attitude. And we have an extensive library of award-winning lifestyle content you can't find anywhere else. We're all former broadcasters who love to tell stories about smashing stereotypes, overcoming obstacles, and reinventing yourself. That provides a compelling reason to visit GrowingBolder.com, even if you're not interested in social networking."

"It's getting cool to be over 45," says Executive Vice President Bill Shafer. "Everything we know about aging is rapidly changing. Millions of men and women in their 50s, 60s, 70s and beyond have time, money and passion for life. They're hip, sexy and anxious to explore new possibilities. We tell their stories."

GrowingBolder.com is a major piece in Bolder Broadcasting's plans to build a multi-platform network that produces, aggregates and distributes active lifestyle content for the 45+ market -- the largest and wealthiest age group in history. The Growing Bolder Radio Show, launched 18 months ago, is heard throughout Florida and will soon expand regionally. The Growing Bolder TV Show, now in production, will launch in the spring.

GrowingBolder.com features a team of nationally respected Gurus and Thought Leaders who offer help and stimulate discussion. "We provide a comfortable place to share ideas and interests," says Director of Content Jackie Carlin. "We integrate our content with that of our contributors and members to create a community unlike any other."

The concept has caught the attention of the experts and the target audience.

"I love signing in to GB! What a great site! I've been looking for something with more than fluff' and I've found it here! I'm going to tell everyone I know and get them to join! Long live Growing Bolder! Y'all ROCK!" said Vickie Citter.

"I simply want to thank you for setting up this website. I've started telling my circle of friends, corporate clients, etc. all about Growing Bolder," said GB Member Gwen.

"You guys and gals have done a superb job of creating a completely unique networking forum. I've even gotten my buddies to sign up. Keep up the good work," said GB Member Lou.

I am delighted! I am thrilled at the prospects that are opening to all the present members and to the future members too! This is an exciting site whose time is NOW! Thank you and I shall certainly do my best to get involved," said GB Member Adrian.

"I just want to let you know that I really like what you are doing. Keep up the great work. I am inspired by you guys," said Scott Gordon, M.D., GB Member.

"I just discovered your website and want to commend you on the fantastic job so far. You guys are creative, and have already made me laugh and moved me. Best of luck in your groundbreaking endeavor. You have a fan for life," said Steve Kidd.

"Well done guys. If you do nothing else, you have brought video to the world of 50-plus," said Dick Stroud, Consultant and Author "The 50-Plus Market."

"If anything, it doesn't look or feel like any other site for this demo. All the others are cookie-cutter. These guys are having fun," described Chuck Nyren, Founder of nyrenagnecy and
author of "Advertising to Baby Boomers".

GrowingBolder.com features channels related to health and fitness, fashion, travel, music, sports and more.

"We even have a GBRocks channel featuring some of the biggest bands and artists of all time, " says Executive Producer Katy Widrick. "We offer a unique opportunity for artists and fans to interact."

The site also features episodes of Growing Bolder's made-for-the-Web reality show, Reality Bytes. "It's a behind-the-scenes look at our efforts to build the next big thing," adds Widrick.

Registration is quick and easy, and membership is free and open to all adults.

"Although we openly target men and women 45+, we also have an 'I-Team' that encourages intergenerational activity," says Middleton. "We believe society is made stronger, and certainly more interesting, by diversity."
