Crescent Manufacturing is once again reinvesting in itself to continue to expand precision fastener offerings to military & commercial industry distributor customers.
Two 3/8 Waterbury Headers were purchased to enable Crescent to manufacture parts in sizes #6 thru 5/16 now in lengths to 3 inches under head for all threaded parts, or 4 inches underhead for any unthreaded fasteners. Orders for these new offerings are being taken and shipped with delivery in approximately 8 weeks.
The new header equipment will also increase shoulder or grip capabilities in the same sizes #6 thru 5/16. Crescent will be able to offer a more extensive line on such military parts as the Ms27039, MS24694 and the AN525. This increase in capability will also extend to the full offerings of commercial parts and specials. Quotes for these items will begin in March 2008.
