Chiropractic Stoke Connection Aired in Nation's Capitol While National Magazine Adds to Coverage

The top rated television news channel in Washington, DC investigates the connection between chiropractic manipulation and strokes, at the same time a leading national magazine warns readers that chiropractic can cause strokes.

Wethersfield, CT (PRWEB) March 1, 2008 -- The Chiropractic Stroke Awareness Group (CSAG) is pleased to see the growing number of large news outlets investigating the potentially severe health risks associated with chiropractic neck manipulation.

The latest reports come from WTTG-TV the Fox owned and operated station in Washington, DC and from Health Magazine. On Tuesday February 26th investigative reporter Tisha Thompson of Fox 5 News aired a months-long investigation into the death of a Maryland man caused by chiropractic manipulation.

The Fox 5 story can be viewed online by going to http://www.myfoxdc.com/myfox/MyFox/pages/sidebar_video.jsp?contentId=5888684&version=1&locale=EN-US.

Harwe's tragic story of being permanently disabled by a stroke caused by a chiropractor is also featured in the February issue of Health Magazine. The article, about the increasing occurrence of young women having strokes, points to chiropractic neck manipulation as one of the key risk factors.

"We are determined to continue our public awareness campaign," Harwe said. "We will not stop until every person is able to make an informed decision about the risks of chiropractic manipulation."

CSAG represents hundreds of people across the United States who have been injured by chiropractic manipulation. Potential risks are serious and can include stroke, permanent disability and even death.
