Alterian (LSE:ALN), the leading global enterprise marketing platform provider, today announced that it was named a "market leader" in the JupiterResearch E-mail Marketing Buyer's Guide, 2008: E-mail Service Provider (ESP) Evaluation. Alterian was among a handful of providers to attain market leader status for the enterprise class segment of the industry round-up. Possible entrants to the Constellation were screened based on roughly 340 data points spanning 20 categories, including partnerships, integration capabilities, product architecture and metrics. Seventeen companies qualified to be included in the enterprise class category of the survey, of which only seven were designated market leaders.
