Hypnosis Educator joins the Centers for Disease Control in reminding Science, Medical and Health journalists that National Sleep Awareness Week began March 3 and runs through March 9, 2008.
According to Michael Ellner (http://www.ellner.info), an internationally prominent Certified Hypnosis and Pain Relief Educator, "There is an urgent need for National Sleep Awareness Week because there are tens of millions of people who could be helped to feel better, heal faster and be more effective if only they were getting more sleep.
There is considerable scientific evidence that hypnosis can help reduce, even eliminate the stress and anxiety that often keeps people from sleeping," Ellner says, "one would think that hypnosis and self-hypnosis training would take its rightful place in the anthology of treating sleep disorders, especially in light of the short-comings and adverse effects of the drugs that are currently being used."
However, that is not the case, which is why Ellner is making himself available to help journalists educate the public, and health care professionals that many sleep problems can be effectively treated by hypnosis and/or self-hypnosis - with the guidance of a certified hypnosis professional.
Ellner maintains his private hypnosis practice in NYC. He enjoys working as part of health care and wellness teams as well as a stand alone hypnosis practitioner. Ellner will be teaching advanced hypnosis classes in Newport Beach (CA), Daytona Beach, (FL), Marlborough, (MA), Las Vegas (NV), Boerne (TX), and New York City and State throughout 2008.
Ellner can speak extensively about how hypnosis can help people learn how to relax and stay focused on improving their health, lives and careers. Michael Ellner is available for interview.
