Salazar Packaging, Inc. Expands into New Location

Chicago area MBE packaging firm to offer new services and products as a result of move to new warehouse and office facility.

Plainfield, IL (PRWEB) March 5, 2008 -- Salazar Packaging, Inc. (www.salazarpackaging.com), a distributor of packaging materials and equipment with a focus on sustainable packaging, flexible films, and packaging automation, moved to a new, 12,500 square foot facility on March 1. With easy access to two major expressways, I-355 and I-55, the newly constructed building will enable the firm to offer same day delivery, as well as a wide range of value-added services.

High on the list of new services is a full spectrum, operational equipment showroom. "It is difficult to evaluate automation options without seeing the machinery in action," said company president, Dennis Salazar. "We can now showcase our fine equipment lines, and run customer product in our facility to save the customer the time and expense of running preliminary tests on their production floor."

With additional warehouse space, the firm plans to offer more warehousing and delivery options for customers with special requirements. Salazar observed, "Whether the issue is just in time delivery, freeing up floor space, inventory consignment, or something else, our goal is to help customers meet their objectives by being creative and flexible. That's the major reason for our move into this building."

In a related move emphasizing its commitment to customer care, Salazar Packaging recently hired Dan Coppola for the new position of Customer Service Manager. Mr. Coppola has more than 10 years experience in packaging distribution and has worked with customers in a wide variety of industries and geographical markets.
