At MarketingSherpa's 3rd Annual Email Summit award ceremony held February 26, Portent Interactive was presented with an Honorable Mention in the Best Email Opt-in Campaign (B2B) category for its momAgenda campaign. The awards were given by Eric Stockton, President, MarketingSherpa, and Joel Book, Director, ExactTarget.

"A big congratulations to all the winners. This year's Email Marketing Awards recognized campaigns with well thought-out strategies, effective implementation and outstanding results," said Jeanne Hopkins, Chief Marketing Officer, MECLABS Group. "This year's contest was highly competitive. We received over 300 high quality entries, more than twice the number of last year's."

Portent's winning momAgenda campaign focused on: increasing subscriptions for the email house list, increasing click-thru and open rates, and ultimately, boosting e-commerce. By adding innovative new sign-up opportunities to the site, then supplementing that boost with regular newsletters, Portent was able to increase momAgenda's subscriber list by 6,626 subscribers, or 828 per month since the campaign started last May. The creative campaign revealed other clear results as well: doubled click-thru rates, open rates, and a jump in revenue from last year's earnings.
