San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) March 6, 2008 -- Freeborders, Inc., the leading provider of technology solutions developed from China, today announced the appointment of four new leaders to strengthen the company as it focuses on continued growth and developing new markets. These new additions build management depth and accelerate Freeborders' business strategy.
Grant Hou has joined the company as Senior Vice President, Operations - Asia. In this role, Grant will oversee Freeborders' China operations. He has over 20 years of experience leading the delivery of complex consulting and technology organizations across a broad range of industries. He joined the company from e-Business International, Inc. where he was instrumental in the firm's >300% revenue growth in four years. Grant holds a MS degree in geology and material science from Cornell University, a BS from China University of Geo-Sciences, and a business management certificate from Baruch College, City University of New York.
Steve Kent assumes the role of Vice President, Global Testing & QA. Steve is a software testing veteran with over 20 years of expertise consisting of life cycle testing, test process consultancy, specialized testing and test automation services. While holding key leadership roles in the testing practices at both Cognizant Technology Solutions and Kanbay International, Steve developed many innovative frameworks to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of testing. Steve holds a Masters of Business Administration, Information Systems from Hofstra University.
Olivia Gallo joins Freeborders as Director, Global Quality and Process. Olivia's Six Sigma Green Belt and ISO Auditor certifications uniquely qualify her to manage and drive best-in-class practices across the company globally. Previously, Olivia led many continues improvement initiatives within General Electric as well as various technology and consulting firms. She holds a Bachelors of Business Administration, Corporate Financial Management from the University of Akron.
Lewis Tang assumes the newly created role of Senior Marketing Manager in Asia. Based in China, Lewis will oversee Freeborders' marketing efforts in Asia. Lewis brings to his new position over 5 years of experience with marketing within the region. Lewis holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Western Sydney in Australia.
