Interaction Associates (IA) will present a case study on developing leaders and driving collaboration at Kaiser Permanente, a national health care network. The webinar is hosted by the International Association for Human Resources Information Management (IHRIM), the world's leading clearinghouse for the HRIM (Human Resource Information Management) industry.

The IA webinar will be held at 10 am Pacific Time on Wednesday, April 9, 2008, and feature co-presenters Christopher Henry, of Kaiser Permanente Health Plan, and Bell Zeidman, of Interaction Associates, Inc.

The case study, titled "Blending Formal and Informal Learning to Drive Collaboration at Kaiser Permanente," will help attendees tackle the difficult task of accelerating development of today’s complex, global, dispersed workforce – and helping employees to collaborate across regional, role and functional barriers.

"Our aim is to show practical tools for collaboration that work to develop employees who can think strategically, adapt to threats and opportunities, and create innovative solutions across silos, functions, and borders," according to Bell Zeidman, Senior Account Manager and Director, Interaction Associates.

Christopher Henry added, "We will demonstrate an innovative web-based platform, 'Total Access', that puts highly practical tools, models and methods at employees' fingertips, to ensure that learning in training workshops is used on the job - and actually influences employee behavior for better outcomes. We believe Kaiser Permanente's use of Total Access will mean gaining efficiencies across the enterprise through a common language – leading to increased marketplace competitiveness, sustainability, the ability to be more nimble, and the capacity to enact change quickly,' he said.

Session participants will gain a thorough understanding of how Total Access accelerates employee development and enhances collaboration across barriers, leading to more productivity and better ROI on training initiatives.

Christopher Henry is Senior Manager of Management Development within Kaiser Permanente's National Learning and Organizational Development Office. He leads the development and deployment of a national executive on-boarding process, the development and maintenance of an online KP executive resource tool, the administration of several national leadership development programs for middle management and lead design and deployment manager for a KP enterprise-wide learning curriculum.

The convenience and flexibility of IHRIM webinars enable organizations to educate one or a large number of employees at once, reduce travel expenses, and maintain consistent levels of productivity by eliminating time out of the office. The webinar is $135 for members and $195 for non-members. For more information or to register, please visit: http://www.ihrim.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=163&Itemid=1
