Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 6, 2008
Pamela LeBlanc, Founder and CEO of Journey Light, launched the company in 2008 after having her second baby and becoming more acutely aware of the concerns about lead tainted baby toys, bottles leaching BPA's, and phthalates in toys and other everyday items new parents use for their babies. As she looked more closely she realized that so many baby products use petrochemical materials, the toxic effects of which are not fully realized yet. Knowing that baby's delicate skin is five times thinner than adults, Pamela searched unsuccessfully for products that are safe for close to skin and mouth contact. She started exploring her design ideas for a portable diaper changing pad using an eco-friendly water resistant textile finish, something no one else, anywhere in the world was doing for babies, and Journey Light was born.
Journey Light's Mission: To create products for your journey that make the lightest impact on the environment and on humanity.
Journey Light offers parenting gear and lifestyle bags using natural fiber textiles -- hemp, organic cotton and flax with NanoSphere®, an ecologically clean textile finish, developed in accordance with the bluesign ® standard, which guarantees the highest possible exclusion of substances that are harmful to humans and to the environment. The benefits of using NanoSphere textiles are that its liquid resistant, is naturally self-cleaning, and it retains function even with heavy-duty use, and frequent washing or cleaning. All of these benefits are perfect for those unexpected surprises while changing diapers and running around with babies and toddlers who spill things throughout the day. Journey Light does not use any plastic or vinyl materials in their products so parents can be assured that their products are safe for baby's skin and mouth contact.

Journey Light was launched by Pamela LeBlanc, mom to two boys, the catalysts that motivated her to create a revolutionary new toxic free diaper changing pad. Creating her first product then led to creating a line of diaper bags, with many more design ideas in the works. Pamela's desire is to create products that take the guess work out of shopping for parents. Journey Light's products are safe. http://www.JourneyLightInc.com
