After teaching himself HTML and handcoding his first website for a company that "thought the Internet was just for email" in 1996, Ben Peters has been actively involved in all facets of Web development for a wide variety of Fortune 500, entertainment and media companies ever since.

As a senior account manager for one of Los Angeles' top 50 interactive agencies in the late 90's, Ben was instrumental in forming the company's perspective on the interactive space. His love for music drove him to pursue an opportunity to head up interactive at Roland Corporation, US - the world's second largest manufacturer of electronic musical instruments - and in just 2 years saw him launch an industry-defining website and move the company into the digital age. Ready for a new challenge, Ben then took an opportunity at Los Angeles-based URB Magazine, where he was charged with morphing the venerable publication into a dynamic interactive property.

According to Ben, as VP of Interactive at BroadTent, his mission is clear: "To continually deliver on the promise of the Web's ability to engage, entertain and inspire."
