Associated Risk Managers (ARM), the nation's foremost independent agency network, will hold its National Conference April 8-10 at Bally's in Las Vegas. Organizers are planning a substantive program of information, education, and entertainment.
With the theme "Bright Lights Bold Moves Winning Big!," the 2008 ARM National Conference will address the specific issues and needs of its independent agency members. According to Scott Spangler, Vice President of ARM Partners, which provides support services to ARM, "this year's conference is significant as it focuses on ARM's continued commitment to growth in membership and in national recognition."
The conference will begin on Tuesday with a welcoming dinner reception featuring a surprise keynote speaker. Wednesday's agenda will include morning breakout sessions exploring the most current issues and trends facing independent agencies today, followed by a luncheon/Trade Fair and an afternoon general session. The meeting will conclude with an evening reception sponsored by wholesale broker Risk Placement Services, Inc. Throughout the gathering, ARM members will have the opportunity to learn and network while sharing valuable market perspectives.
ARM members will also have an opportunity to participate in an optional recreational day on Thursday, with tours available to Lake Mead, Hoover Dam or the Colorado River, as well as a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon National Park.
ARM has more than 250 agency members who collectively generate an annual premium volume in excess of $4 billion. Registration for the 2008 Annual Conference is recommended by March 7, 2008.
