The Defense Alliance of Minnesota named Third Wave Systems (TWS) as its first-ever small business "Architect of Defense" awardee for the growth the company has made and the value it continues to help prime contractors deliver to the men and women in uniform. The award was announced at a gathering Thursday night at HGA Minneapolis that featured remarks from Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems, and Senator Kathy Saltzman.
"This company gets it," said Defense Alliance Executive Director Chip Laingen. "Through high-tech software and services, Third Wave embodies our mission of expanding the defense industry in Minnesota."
"It is a surprise and extreme honor to receive this from among so many other strong companies," TWS President and CEO Kerry Marusich said. "We strive to deliver cutting-edge technology while developing young talent and excitement in the engineering world."
