Cleveland, OH (PRWEB) March 11, 2008 -- MIPTV 2008 is the destination for the new Christmas feature Christmas at Maxwell's and its representative, Cassie Yde of The Television Syndication Company (TVS). MIPTV is being held this year, April 7-11th at the Palais des Festivals, Cannes. This world class television event on the Croisette attracts industry programmers who this year will have "Christmas at Maxwell's" as a holiday movie programming choice. "Christmas at Maxwell's" is in domestic syndication for the 2008 Holiday Season. TVS is also offering the movie to international outlets for Laufer Film.

"Christmas at Maxwell's" is based in part on a true story. Maitland McDonagh of TV GUIDE says "... it's a rare example of truly independent filmmaking..." This Dove Foundation Award winning PG-rated holiday film is connecting with audiences young and old.

"Clarence the angel in It's a Wonderful Life, answers to Joseph in Heaven, and Christmas at Maxwell's has an angelic character with a name reminiscent of St. Joseph." says Peggy Moen of the Wanderer. "Christmas at Maxwell's" is quickly becoming a classic holiday movie.

Often described as a Tom Hanks look alike, Andrew May plays the lead part of Andrew Austin. In fact, both Tom Hanks and Andrew May are fellow Great Lakes Theater Festival alums. McGill graduate, Second City cast member and Food Channel personality Jacqueline "Jack" Hourigan play his wife in the movie. Hourigan's credits include How to Boil Water (The Food Network), Ready as She Grows (DIY Network) and Three Takes (Slice TV). Singer, song-writer Helen Welch and actor Director Bill Laufer help to complete the cast.

In the USA, contact Cassie M. Yde, President TVS - Television Syndication Co, Inc. at 520 Sabal Lake Drive Suite #108 Longwood, FL 32779 Office: (407) 788-6407, Fax: (407) 788-4397 for syndication and distribution information.
