Sitebrand used to optimize targeted content and improve conversion showing a 500 + percent return as proved by Omniture SiteCatalyst.

Dan Shields is not only making us look good, but showing other retailers how easy and effective dynamic personalization can be.

CableOrganizer.com realized a 500-700 per cent return on investment using Sitebrand's technology, which allows sites to convert more sales by serving real-time personalized content based on user attributes. CableOrganizer.com's Web Analyst, Dan Shields, opted to measure results not only using Sitebrand's reporting manager, but also using Omniture's SiteCatalyst to ensure accurate results.

"We were able to take the data from Omniture and compare what we were getting out of Sitebrand," says Shields. "The Omniture tool confirmed with certainty that any areas of the site that used Sitebrand saw an immediate, measurable, and sustained lift."

Shields started out using his analytics tool to identify the site's underperforming segments--those who convert less than the average. When he started using Sitebrand's tool he went a step further to measure which 'zones' on his site outperform others.

"CableOrganizer.com is proving to be a trailblazer in the field of personalization and content optimization," says Gavin Parry, Sitebrand's vice president of client services. "Dan Shields is not only making us look good, but showing other retailers how easy and effective dynamic personalization can be."

"The big picture is that targeted, personalized content is effective. Sitebrand is a third of the expense of our pay per click campaigns with about the same revenue, so we are getting tremendous return," says Shields.

Sitebrand recognized the trend demanding marketing accountability and has now included the ability to integrate with Google Analytics and Coremetrics--two leading analytics providers--in the most recent release of Sitebrand's Retail Marketing Suite (v6.1).

Sitebrand has published a case study about CableOrganizer.com, as well Dan Shields has discussed these improvements in detail in his blog at daniel.webanalyticsdemystified.com, hosted by Eric T. Peterson
