Custom Publishing Matchmaker Junta42 Match Opens to Publishers

Junta42 Match, the custom publishing and content marketing industry's only online marketplace, announced the opening of the service for custom publishers, advertising agencies, pr firms and other content agencies. The current Junta42 Match site will stay in beta until the formal launch to content marketers and association professionals in June, 2008.

Custom publishing and content marketing matchmaking site Junta42 Match today opened its doors to custom publishers and custom-content providers across the country with the launch of its Beta version. The announcement was made by Founder Joe Pulizzi at the Custom Publishing Council's Custom Content Conference in New Orleans.

Junta42 Match will launch in two phases: First, the recruitment of publishers, and second, the invitation of marketers. Over the next three months, Junta42 Match will recruit custom publishers, content agencies, interactive firms and other content experts and providers interested in joining the audited directory. In June 2008, Junta42 Match will launch in its completed form for marketers, who will be paired with publishers that meet their marketing criteria and fit their overall needs. The service will be free for marketing professionals.

"Junta42 Match is an essential service in an age when brands can best reach consumers with targeted, relevant information," said Pulizzi. "Marketers understand that old-school interruption marketing -- in the form of paid commercial spots, Web pop-ups and so on -- is no longer the best way to reach savvy consumers. That's why custom content and the delivery of compelling, relevant information has become so essential to brand success and grown into a multi-billion dollar industry."

Until now, North American custom publishers and content providers have been limited to traditional methods of new business acquisition -- answering RFPs, advertising, cold calls and other self-marketing efforts -- often leaving room for error and missed opportunities. Junta42 Match aims to decrease these flaws by pairing marketers' specific needs with publishers' core competencies, across several categories and variables. Publishers are additionally screened before being granted exposure within the database, guaranteeing marketers a reliable pool of pre-approved experts.

Junta42 Match is currently available for publisher membership only, and it will remain in Beta form until its official launch for marketers in June 2008. In order to become part of the Junta42 Match network, custom publishers will need to complete a detailed online application. All publishers are entitled to a free trial, although incentives will be available for those who subscribe to the paid service before the June full-site launch.
