Three New Members Join HDP User Group International

The High Density Packaging User Group International, Inc. (HDP), a global non-profit cooperative research and development organization for the Electronics industry, announces three new companies (Nan Ya, Wistron, and Chemtura) have joined the organization as corporate members.

The High Density Packaging User Group International, Inc. (HDP), a global non-profit cooperative research and development organization for the Electronics industry, announces three new companies (Nan Ya, Wistron, and Chemtura) have joined the organization as corporate members.

The HDP organization and its member companies are excited about the addition of these three diverse companies and look forward to sharing knowledge in current and future projects that will benefit all. "These companies bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to HDP, and their support will be beneficial to all of our activities," said Marshall Andrews, executive director of HDP. These new members will initially participate in the three Halogen Free Environmental projects currently underway.

About our three new members:
Nan Ya PCB Corporation is a subsidiary of the Formosa Plastics Group's collection of chemical and plastics companies. Nan Ya Plastics primarily manufactures plastics, fibers, and electronic materials, and is Taiwan's largest plastics maker. The company is counting on growing the electronic materials business, as well as its burgeoning specialty chemicals operations. Nan Ya Plastics was founded in 1958; it operates in the US through subsidiary Nan Ya Plastics USA.

Wistron Corporation was formally established on May 30, 2001.It is among the world's largest ODM companies producing ICT products. From its headquartrs in Taiwan, Wistron has expanded to include operations in Europe and North America. Product development focus is on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) products, including Notebook and Desktop systems, Servers and Storage systems, IA (information appliances), Networking and Communication products.

Chemtura Corporation, was formed in 2005 from the merger of Crompton Corporation and Great Lakes Chemical Corporation. Chemtura has approximately 5,600 employees in research, manufacturing, sales and administrative facilities in every major market of the world.
