The High Density Packaging User Group International, Inc. (HDP), a global non-profit cooperative research and development organization for the Electronics industry, announces three new companies (Nan Ya, Wistron, and Chemtura) have joined the organization as corporate members.
The HDP organization and its member companies are excited about the addition of these three diverse companies and look forward to sharing knowledge in current and future projects that will benefit all. "These companies bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to HDP, and their support will be beneficial to all of our activities," said Marshall Andrews, executive director of HDP. These new members will initially participate in the three Halogen Free Environmental projects currently underway.

Nan Ya PCB Corporation is a subsidiary of the Formosa Plastics Group's collection of chemical and plastics companies. Nan Ya Plastics primarily manufactures plastics, fibers, and electronic materials, and is Taiwan's largest plastics maker. The company is counting on growing the electronic materials business, as well as its burgeoning specialty chemicals operations.
