BNET.com, one of the world's leading online business websites, has posted a new instructional video showing its business users how to smartly choose wine at an important business luncheon or dinner.
To present the "Wine Know-How" video, BNET.com chose Michael Mattis, proprietor of Vinapedia.net, a site for novice wine enthusiasts, and master sommelier, Eugenio Jardim, of Jardinière, one of San Francisco's finest restaurants.
"We found that many business people - 75 percent - are surprisingly intimidated by the thought of choosing wine in front of prospective clients," says Mattis. "Vinapedia is all about taking the mystery out of wine, and we created the video to help people overcome their fears."
In "Wine Know-How," Jardim offers easy-to-remember tips on choosing the right wine, pairing wine with food, how to cleverly choose the right wine on a budget (without letting your guests know) and pouring etiquette.
The video is a companion piece to an earlier article, written by Mattis, "Pick, Pour and Taste Wine Like a Pro," which shows the busy business person how to survive a important business dinner with a wine snob.

Vinapedia.net (http://www.vinapedia.net) was launched in the summer of 2007 by the admittedly novice oenophile, Michael Mattis. "I created Vinapedia.net because I'm not an authority on wine," says Mattis. "I created it so that I could learn more about something I've become passionate about and share what I've learned with others." A founding editor of Business 2.0 magazine, a freelance writer and professional blogger, Mattis currently holds the trendy title of Social Media Manager at BNET in San Francisco.
