Denver, CO (PRWEB) March 10, 2008
Outskirts Press, Inc. (http://www.outskirtspress.com), the fastest-growing full-service POD self-publisher, proudly announced today that ForeWord Magazine has recognized four titles published by Outskirts Press in 2007 as Finalists in ForeWord Magazine's Book of the Year Awards.
The Book of the Year Awards, now in its tenth year, is designed to highlight the best books from independent publishers--including universities, small presses and self-publishers--and generate interest for these titles among buyers. Nearly 1,600 books, representing 350 publishers, competed for the coveted Finalist slots.
"We are so proud of our authors and join them in celebrating this achievement," states Outskirts Press CEO Brent Sampson. "Being recognized as a Finalist for the prestigious Book of the Year Awards is a great honor. These Outskirts Press books stand tall among the best."
