Schneider Optics Expands Home Cinema Market Reach with Many New Reps Nationwide

Dealers and consumers now have easy access to home theater lenses from the leading manufacturer of commercial cinema lenses.

Van Nuys, CA (PRWEB) March 10, 2008 -- Schneider Optics, Inc., the well-known lens and professional filter manufacturer, has expanded the sales and service capabilities of its Home Cinema line of products with the addition of manufacturers' representatives covering every region of the United States.

Dan Drook, Schneider's Director of Sales and, Home Cinema, described the new agreements as part of Schneider's increased focus on the growing home cinema market. "We're excited about the tremendous positive feedback we're getting from the industry in regard to our home cinema products -- especially our Cine-Digitar 1.33 Anamorphic lens for the 2:35 format," he explained. "We decided it was time to take a more aggressive approach to the home cinema market, and reached out to the foremost reps in the industry. The response has been great, and we're excited about the increased sales and service possibilities afforded by the new business partnerships we've formed."

Schneider has announced reaching agreements with industry-leading reps including AMI Sales (headquartered in Hollywood, FL. 954 929-2148 ), Central Sales & Marketing (Kansas City, MO 816 587-2282), Convergence Marketing (Kuntztown, PA 877 563-0558), Current Marketing (Scottsdale, AZ 480 922-0200), Dorrance Audio Marketing (Louisville, KY 502 429-9940), P. D. Lazarus & Co. (Peabody, MA 800 443-4037), and The New York Marketing Team (Syosset, NY 516 838-1900). According to Drook, this is just the start as additional reps will be added in the future.

"Schneider's anamorphic lenses and accessories bring the possibilities of a true cine-wide (Cinemascope®) format to more home cinema users, better than ever before," said Bob Dorrance of Dorrance Audio Marketing. "My goal is to provide customers with exciting products that greatly improve the home theater viewing experience. When I realized that the Cine-Digitar anamorphic lenses deliver higher performance and fit more projectors than competitors' lenses, I realized they were the perfect addition to my line. I'm pleased to participate in Schneider's growing success in the industry."

Unique among products for home cinemas, Schneider's Cine-Digitar Anamorphic 1.33x Lens enables digital home cinema owners to achieve incredible full-screen Cinemascope® images without "letterboxing," (the black bars that appear above and below the image when a 16:9 projector with a conventional lens projects a Cinemascope® movie).

Schneider offers two elegantly simple yet rugged solutions for deploying Cine-Digitar Anamorphic Lenses. The Kino-Torsion and Kino-Linear deployment mechanisms are constructed for use in even the most demanding home cinema or screening room applications. Both feature adjustments for displacement, pitch, yaw and roll, for easy precision lens alignment. Automatic deployment is possible using a 12 volt trigger or contact closure.

Schneider also manufactures the largest and most innovative range of commercial Cinema Projection Lenses in the world. Schneider has been making lenses since 1913, and has a team of scientists and specialists with the experience and know-how to guarantee projection lenses of the highest precision and quality. These provide a more enjoyable movie experience for everyone in any theater -- from the largest Multiplex, to home theaters everywhere.
