As the global green movement grows even stronger, Smartbag wants to make sure businesses are aware of the potential this revolutionary product line offers for promotional efforts. To make sure the word is out, the company is sponsoring two online contests that will result in the awarding of hundreds of free, branded bags for corporate use.
Smartbag is an Internet-based firm that creates recyclable bags and products that are made out of non-woven polypropylene. This is the same material that is used in supermarket eco bags. Although plastic by nature, polypropylene is easy to recycle and is noted for having a lower footprint than other similar bagging materials.
Smartbag offers a full line of reusable bags and also car seat covers made of this durable, yet environmentally friendly material. In addition to bag and seat cover production, Smartbag also provides a full branding service that allows companies to have their own message, logo or product label placed on their orders.
"Polypropylene is the perfect material for this kind of use," said Chris Ballenden, Smartbag's Managing Director. "It repels water, can be dyed to match any Pantone colour and holds up tremendously well to repeated use. It is also recyclable, which is an incredible benefit for corporate promotions in this age of environmental awareness and action."
Smartbag's contests are designed to raise awareness about the company's unique products, Ballenden said.
The first contest under way will result in the giveaway of 500 bags, complete with the winning company's logo, to a single winner. The contest is open right now with a 31 March deadline for entry.
The second contest, also under way right now, will result in the giveaway of 500 Smartcovers, which are the company's eco-friendly car seat covers. The winner of this contest will receive 500 fully branded Smartcovers for promotional use. Smartcovers are designed both for use by mechanics to protect vehicle interiors during servicing and also for everyday use by consumers.
Smartbag's unique concept is gaining attention around the globe as many big-name clients have already taken advantage of this unusual promotional tool. Others are signing on all the time.
Smartbag's current client list includes some big-name international companies and a host of smaller, regional firms. The current client list includes Mazda, Krispy Kreme, Snap-on, Toys 'R' Us and Toyota. That list continues to grow in leaps and bounds with companies both large and small discovering the benefits of Smartbags and Smartcovers all the time.
"We're very excited to offer both contests to help introduce potential clients to the opportunities the Smartbag products offer for promotions," said Ballenden. "The environmentally friendly nature of our products makes them a favourite for consumers and they help our clients and their promotions stand out as distinct."
