Golf aficionados can try their luck at picking the winners of the 2008 Masters by entering Action Seating's $100K Augusta Golf Challenge Giveaway by April 7, 2008. Registration is taking place at http://www.actionseating.com. The ten finalists selected from the first 5,000 registrants on April 8th will be asked to pick the top four finalists in the upcoming Masters Golf Tournament held between April 7 - 13th.

Action Seating, Inc., a leader in providing individual tickets and ticket packages to major national and international sporting events, announced today that it has launched their $100,000 Augusta Golf Challenge. The 2008 contest revolves around the Masters Golf Tournament, which takes place April 7th through April 13th at the Augusta National Golf course in Augusta, Georgia. The Action Seating Challenge will offer ten lucky finalists the chance to compete for the $100,000 top prize by predicting the final results of the tournament in advance.

"The buzz surrounding this year's Masters Tournament is unlike anything I have ever seen in all my years in this business," says Action Seating Inc.'s founder and President, Gene Hammett. "There is a large demand for ticket packages to the Tournament every year, but we have seen a marked increase in demand for tickets to this year's Masters due both to the excitement surrounding it and the expected level of the competition. We decided to do the $100K Giveaway as a way to let even casual golf fans participate in the excitement of this year's Tournament."

Registration for the contest will only be available at http://www.actionseating.com. Registration is open to the public, and no purchase is necessary.

On Tuesday, April 8th (just prior to the start of the 2008 Masters tournament), ten (10) registrants will be selected at random to be the $100,000 Augusta Golf Challenge finalists. Each finalist will then be asked to pick the top four (4) finishers in the 2008 Masters tournament, in order of finish. If any finalist correctly picks all four (4) top finishers in the correct order of finish, they will be crowned the 2008 Augusta Golf Challenge winner, and be awarded the top prize of $100,000. If more than one finalist picks the top four finishers in the correct order, the prize money will be equally divided among the finishers. The contest registration form and complete contest rules may be found http://www.actionseating.com.

"Given the excitement surrounding this year's Masters - and the remarkable array of competitors which is expected to include reigning champion Zach Johnson, and former champions Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods - we are expecting an overwhelming response to this challenge," said Hammett. "At this point, we are able to announce that the first five thousand entrants to the challenge will be guaranteed a spot in the drawing for the ten finalist positions. So we suggest that people register as soon as possible." The deadline for entry into the contest is April 7, 2008.
