Get Ready Rentals is Currently Celebrating the Opening of their Eighth Branch in the Popular City of Granada

Despite the recent launch of several new destinations in some of western Europe's most popular holiday hotspots, Barcelona Homes, now known as Get Ready Rentals is also reaching new heights in its birthplace, Spain, with the opening of their eighth branch in Granada.

The company formerly known as Barcelona Homes has come a long way in a short period of time. Their story of success begins when the company began operations in 2003 with just one apartment in the beach side suburb of Barceloneta. Luckily for Gaizka Pujana, owner and general manager of the business, the market for holiday apartments in Barcelona at that time was relatively under-supplied.

Over the next couple of years, a trend emerged with tourists favouring a private slice of peace and quiet in a self-catering apartment, over an over crowded or noisy hotel. Holiday apartments were in high demand, and the bookings were coming in, thick and fast.

At this time, Pujana joined forces with another local business that facilitated the buying and selling of properties in Barcelona, and together they opened an office in Barceloneta. The team dynamic worked in their favour to build a reputation of being a one-stop shop for tenants, buyers and sellers in the market. Their collective experience made them an attractive agent to each angle of the industry.

Before long, the handful of apartments Pujana was working with were consistently fully booked, and more and more property owners were approaching him to represent their holiday apartments in the area.
The business grew quickly, and began to branch out to other popular tourist areas of the city as well as popular Barceloneta.

With a background in search engine optimisation, and side web-development projects in the Spanish market, Pujana could see that the early success of the business could be just the tip of the iceberg in the potential of holiday accommodation rental in Spain, and in 2006, Get Ready Rentals was born.

The plan was to expand into other holiday hotspots on the coast and southern Andalucian regions, frequented by travellers all year round. Get Ready Seville opened later in the year, followed closely by the Costa Del Sol and Valencia in late 2007.

The opening of the Granada site marks the fifth city in Spain that Get Ready Rentals now operates in. The website, currently offering holiday rentals in Granada is set up to handle instant online bookings, deposit payments, instant chat messaging support for clients and also offers travel information about the city to make sure their guests get the most out of their vacation time in Granada.

It's another important step in the company's growth strategy, and largely thanks to the years of effort in managing other properties in the country.

Instead of having to go looking for properties to represent, this website started when Pujana was approached to represent several apartments from the one property manager.

Dissatisfied with other agencies already representing holiday properties in the area, this owner needed someone who could generate bookings and deal with client enquiries, the majority of which, are in English, so she could concentrate on the maintenance of these properties and the needs of her guests on location.

Get Ready Rentals provides this opportunity, as well as a range of business support tools for property owners who can manage their reservations, apartment availability, rates and other details online, via the back-end booking management software that owners have access to when they sign up with the company.

"Its about making business easy," Pujana says. "The internet is a great resource that property owners can harness to make contact with tourists interested in renting their holiday property, but it's also something we can use to manage business effectively, promoting growth and development in the industry."

With eight cities in five years and sights set on even more destinations in 2008, it's clear that Get Ready Rentals is on to something.
