As a member of Ethoca's board, I'm excited to help shape the direction of the company as it tackles the challenge of making e-commerce the safest and most trusted way to shop
Toronto, Canada (PRWEB) March 11, 2008
Ethoca, the leader in collaborative fraud management, today announced the appointment of Joseph J. Grano, Jr., former chairman and CEO of UBS PaineWebber and former chairman of the U.S. Homeland Security Advisory Council to the company's board of directors.
"We are honored to have Joe Grano join our board. With his rich and varied leadership experience in the fields of security and financial services, Joe adds tremendous depth, business acumen and a wealth of insight into our target markets. As we enter a period of rapid global commercialization of our technology, we will benefit from Joe's expertise, network and immense credibility in both the public and private sectors," said Andre Edelbrock, Ethoca's President and CEO.
"As a member of Ethoca's board, I'm excited to help shape the direction of the company as it tackles the challenge of making e-commerce the safest and most trusted way to shop," stated Mr. Grano. "Consumers are flocking to the Internet in droves, but unfortunately, where consumers congregate is where fraudulent activities tend to follow. Ethoca's technology and collaborative approach stand out as cost-effective defenses for merchants, card processors and consumers against fraudulent activities and will assist the growth of e-commerce by making it a secure way to shop."
