Five Companies Win Best of Show Awards at CompTIA Channel Summit
Five companies at the forefront of innovation in the information technology industry have been recognized by the Computing Technology Industry Association for their efforts in product development and channel strategies.

CompTIA announced today that IT Control Suite, Level Platforms, Objectworld, Samsung, and Tech Data received Best of Show awards at the recent CompTIA Channel Summit in Montreal. Award winners were selected based on the votes of more than 60 VIP technology resellers and solution providers attending the conference.
The fact that these companies were singled out for special recognition by their reseller and solution provider partners is the highest compliment one can offer; and testament to the quality of the products, services and solutions they are delivering to customers," said John Venator, president and chief executive officer, CompTIA.
itControl Suite (http://www.itcontrolsuite.com/) of Toronto, a provider of IT service management solutions, claimed three awards at the CompTIA Channel Summit. The company won the Best Solutions Sales Strategy, Best Presentation and overall Best of Show honors.
Level Platforms Inc. (http://www.levelplatforms.com/) of Ottawa, the global leader in the market for remote monitoring and management software, received the Best Channel Strategy award.
Objectworld Communications Corp. (http://www.objectworld.com/) of Ottawa, a provider of unified communications software solutions that enable small- and medium-sized businesses with Microsoft® Windows® platforms to drive workforce productivity and improve organizational responsiveness, won the award for Best Software Product.
Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., (http://www.samsung.com) a global leader in semiconductor, telecommunication, digital media and digital convergence technologies, won the Best Hardware Product award.
Tech Data Corporation (http://www.techdata.com/) of Clearwater, Fla., a leading distributor of IT products, with more than 90,000 customers in over 100 countries, received the award for Best Distribution and Support.
