At an upcoming workshop, wealth coaching company http://www.themoneygym.com shows mothers who don't want to go back to full time work how they can create a financially secure for their family whilst still spending time with them at home.
There comes a point in almost every mother's life when she has to make a choice between being a stay at home mum and a working mother. Sometimes it's her own decision and sometimes circumstances force it upon her. But clients of wealth coaching company http://www.themoneygym.com are increasingly taking a third path that allows them the time to spend with their children, but yet still offers intellectual stimulation and, most importantly, provides a secure and financially fantastic future for their family.
This March's Money Gym Workshop is on 15th March and concentrates on how to chose businesses that are perfect for mothers. First, Neil Asher, successful Australian who now lives in Brighton, will show participants how to pick a business, get it started and make a great profit in just 6 months. Neil is followed by the Money Gym's own Judith Morgan who will explain the concept of "turnkey business" which means following a tried and tested success system in business, rather then re-inventing the wheel.
One such mother who has managed to break the mould is 40-year old Paula MacArthur. Mother of three small boys under 7, Paula used to be a stay at home Mum with a husband who worked long hours and felt exhausted on weekends. Although they were financially comfortable, Paula admits that they were far from secure. She'd been looking around for something to give her a bit more stimulation, whilst still allowing her to concentrate on bringing up her sons, when she came across Money Gym coach Judith Morgan.
Now, three years later, Paula and her husband own seven properties in the UK and abroad, and they've started a construction business that in its first year had just under a £1million turnover. Paula has time to devote to starting her own business, http://www.millionairemum.com, her children can go to a very good school, they can afford great family holidays and they've just bought a family holiday cottage in Devon. But it's not just Paula that's happy -- her husband is working in a business that he has real passion for, and now has time to spend with his family.
Paula puts her success down to taking action and doing something. Her top tips for breaking out of the working versus stay at home motherhood trap are:
- Work out what you are passionate about and base what you want to do around that.
- Decide what it is that you want. This might take some time but it's a vital step.
- Start learning as much as possible about what you want to do.
- Surround yourself with positive people who are already doing it!
- Take action and move yourself out of that comfort zone.
- Get a mentor or coach - someone who has successfully done what you want to do and can save you from making mistakes.
The Money Gym was set up Nicola Cairncross, herself a mother of two. It has helped hundreds of people along the road to financial independence (and created some millionaires along the way). It is a powerful programme that teaches participants a solid and proven way of creating wealth, with a choice of ways to suit your personality. These could be a choice of, or a combination of high risk, high return investment, solid bricks and mortar, or building a business that you can sell or use to set you up for life.
