This one-of-a kind event, featuring the latest technology and ideas for connecting with youth, will once again be held at the Hotel Nikko in San Francisco, CA, July 14 to 15, 2008.

The 2008 Ypulse National Mashup conference will focus on harnessing social media and mobile technology in ways that are ethical, authentic and add value for youth. This event will be filled with interactive, thought-provoking discussions and presentations covering media and marketing topics related to: social networking, online video, podcasting, blogging, wireless, virtual worlds, instant messaging, video gaming and digital music. The Ypulse National Mashup conference attracts brand and non-profit marketers, representatives of non-profits and educators reaching youth, and the leaders of media and the technology platforms that interact with youth.
There will be four pre-conferences including an interactive workshop on teens and technology; a Ypulse Books & Publishing workshop which will focus on how technology is transforming books and magazines; a Casual Gaming workshop, which will focus on casual games for tweens and teens; and a Case Study Slam where select brands and organizations will present short consecutive case studies sharing what worked and what didn't with youth outreach efforts. Lunch during the main conference will feature the popular 'user-generated' sessions where attendees suggest topics and lead discussions, and the day also will include a 'Totally Wired Youth Super Star' panel, with a new crop of young technology entrepreneurs.
